Other News/Reminders

-  Spring Auction – Sunday, April 10th 5:00 pm– St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church with dinner and desserts catered by Watershed students. Contact Joyce Hillman (jhillman@wildblue.net).

-  Spring Benefit Concert: Saturday, May 8th 7:30 pm at the Rockport Opera House.

-  “Beyond Rangoon” is a fictional dramatization of actual events that focuses on the Tianamen Square-style massacre of peaceful protesters in the capital city of Rangoon, now known by its military rulers as Myanmar.  The film, by John boorman (whos credits also include “Deliverance” and “The Emerald Forest”), has remained timely and immediate, as the Burmese junta has continues to tighten its grip on power and opposition leader Soo Kyi remains under near-permanent house arrest.  The film will be followed by a brief discussion and refreshments.  The film is presented by Watershed’s Amnesty International group.
