Important Dates/Upcoming Events

February 19-21: Camden Conference:  Afghanistan, Pakistan, India – Crossroads of Conflict

March 13: First of three SAT test dates (Juniors and parents, please see details below).

Other News/Reminders

-  Crystal Robinson would welcome native or fluent French speakers who would like to visit her French class and teach a unit with her or just talk about an interesting topic in French (contact daggetbuilders.com@gmail.com).

-  The Auction Committee needs your help!  More parents are needed to plan this event, which is tentatively scheduled for April.  For more information, please contact Joyce Hillman (jhillman@wildblue.net).

-  Spring Benefit Concert:  A Saturday date opened up at the Rockport Opera House.  The official concert date is now Saturday, May 8th.  Details to follow.

-  Congratulations and thank you to the Watershed School Accreditation Committee, which just sent a comprehensive self-study report to the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NESAC).  A Visiting Committee from NESAC will be coming to Watershed School in late March.  Contact Will Galloway if you have questions or would like to look at the report.

ATTENTION JUNIORS (and their parents)!  You are responsible for registering for your SATs.

Spring 2010 SAT test dates:

March 13th    Registration deadline -  Feb 10   (Late Registration phone/online Feb 24)

May 1st          Registration deadline -  March 31 (Late Registration phone/online April 14)

June 5th         Registration deadline -  May 5  (Late Registration phone/online May 19)

In addition, SAT Subject Tests will be offered for US History, Literature, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Math Levels 1 and 2, Biology, Spanish, French on the May and June dates. These are one-hour multiple choice tests covering the content of standard high school courses.  You can NOT take the SAT and Subject Tests on the same day.  Subject tests are NOT offered in March.

FEES

SAT Regular registration:  $45

SAT Late registration:  $68

SAT Subject Tests registration:

Base fee per test date:  $20

Plus $9 per subject test
